This project uses type and illustration in black and white to convey an emotion, in this case fear.

I am personally terrified of all snakes, to the point where looking at pictures of them makes me physically shudder. Creating this piece was a challenge, but it helped me look past my fear and study the form of this rattlesnake. The snake body, scales, and words were hand drawn with pencil and ink. It was then scanned and polished in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
